Visiting the Plains Art Museum is one of my absolute favorite trips. What an amazing opportunity for our students to visit and work in the Creative Arts Studio each year!!!
The first part of our tour began in the entry with a discussion about the mural pictured on the left in the photo collage below. Take a minute to study it to find many representations of our state.
No photos from inside the gallery, of course, as there is no photography allowed! :)
After our tour we spent a few hours making our bison. As we needed to work quickly to prevent the clay from drying out between steps and I had clay all over my hands, these were the only pictures I was able to take. :(
